Ranbir Kapoor has finally addressed the long-running rumours surrounding his reported association with ‘Dhoom 4’. During his appearance at San Diego Comic-Con for the promotion of his upcoming epic ‘Ramayana’, the actor clarified that he is not a part of the much-discussed action franchise.
For several years, reports and fan speculations had suggested that Ranbir Kapoor would headline the fourth instalment of the popular ‘Dhoom’ franchise. However, putting an end to the buzz, the actor revealed that his current line-up includes only ‘Ramayana’ and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’.
Ranbir attended the global event alongside ‘Ramayana’ director Nitesh Tiwari, producer Namit Malhotra, and co-star Yash, where the team showcased the ambitious mythological epic to an international audience.
The actor’s clarification comes amid years of speculation about his involvement in Yash Raj Films’ action thriller franchise. While fans were excited about the possibility of seeing Ranbir step into the world of high-octane action, the actor has now confirmed that ‘Dhoom 4’ is not part of his upcoming projects.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for one of the biggest projects of his career, ‘Ramayana’, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film also stars Yash and Sai Pallavi and is being mounted as a grand cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic.
Apart from Ramayana, Ranbir will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’, which also stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
