Alia Bhatt is bringing a whole new kind of glamour to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War! After Ranbir Kapoor’s intriguing first look, the makers have now unveiled Alia’s look from the much-awaited period drama — and it is every bit as dramatic and glamorous as fans expected.
Dressed in a striking red outfit, Alia can be seen posing on a stage surrounded by bright spotlights. But what instantly grabs attention is her dramatic red feathered headpiece, giving the entire look a classic 1960s-70s cabaret vibe.
Alia shared the first look on Instagram with a simple yet exciting caption, “Reunited 🌹.” And well, the picture has certainly got fans curious about what her character has in store.
This marks Alia’s second collaboration with Bhansali after Gangubai Kathiawadi, the 2022 film that earned her widespread acclaim and her first National Award for Best Actress. With Bhansali known for creating larger-than-life characters and visually stunning worlds, Alia’s retro avatar has only added to the anticipation around the film.
The film also brings Alia together with husband Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. Ranbir’s first look, released a day earlier, showed him behind the wheel of a vintage car with a bullet wound on his arm, hinting at the intense drama ahead.
Alia and Ranbir have previously shared the screen in Brahmastra, while Alia and Vicky reunited after their acclaimed collaboration in Raazi. With this star-studded combination and Bhansali’s signature visual style, Love & War is already looking like one of the most awaited Bollywood films.
