Salman Khan Finally Addresses The Bigg Boss 20 Casting Controversy — Here’s His Response

Bigg Boss 20 has barely begun, but the show’s contestant line-up has already become a talking point among viewers. With some fans calling the casting underwhelming, host Salman Khan has now seemingly addressed the chatter  and, as expected, he did it with his trademark humour.

During the latest Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman interacted with actress Amrapali Dubey and asked her whether she felt anything was missing from the Bigg Boss house.

Amrapali insisted that she didn’t think there was anything lacking. Salman, however, had a rather cheeky take on the matter.

Rather than getting defensive about the criticism, Salman appeared to turn the conversation into a joke.

He suggested that while the makers had tried to carefully select the contestants, sometimes the casting process could still have its shortcomings. He then joked that the house would inevitably have one or two contestants who would bring enough drama to keep things interesting.

His comments come amid social media discussions about the Bigg Boss 20 line-up, with some viewers expecting a bigger mix of familiar faces.

Who Are The Bigg Boss 20 Contestants?

The latest season, which premiered on September 6, features contestants from a wide range of backgrounds.

The house includes television actors such as Mahhi Vij, Kanika Mann, Aasif Khan, Aman Gandhi and Amrapali Dubey, along with singers including Qazi Touqeer, Rhiti Tiwari and Yung DSA.

The season also has content creators and digital personalities such as ScoutOP and Arishfa Khan, while boxing champion Mary Kom brings a sporting background to the house.

With such a mixed line-up, the season is clearly not relying only on traditional television celebrities.

Salman Hints At The Drama To Come

Salman also reminded the contestants that the real Bigg Boss entertainment comes from what happens inside the house  from tasks and emotional moments to arguments, rule violations and clashes between housemates.

He jokingly pointed out that while certain things may be edited out, the contestants would still have plenty of opportunities to make their presence felt.

So, whether viewers initially found the Bigg Boss 20 casting exciting or underwhelming, Salman’s message was pretty clear: the real test begins once the contestants start living together.

And considering the early clashes and conversations already unfolding inside the house, it may be too soon to judge this season by its casting alone.
