Television actress Saanvie Tallwar has once again spoken about an alleged on-set incident involving her former co-star Karan Kundrra during the filming of Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum. In a recent interview, the actress revisited the controversy, claiming the incident had a lasting emotional impact on her career.
According to Saanvie, an intimate scene between the two actors turned uncomfortable when, she alleged, Karan kissed her before the director had called for the shot. She claimed she reacted by slapping him, following which he allegedly slapped her back in front of the crew and verbally abused her and her family. These are allegations made by Saanvie, and Karan Kundrra has not publicly responded to the latest claims.
The actress further alleged that the incident left her mentally distressed and made her consider quitting the entertainment industry. She also claimed that producer Ektaa Kapoor later reached out to her, apologised on Karan’s behalf and encouraged her to continue working on the show.
Saanvie also stated that she had informed Karan’s then-girlfriend, Anusha Dandekar, about her discomfort during the shoot, after which Anusha allegedly began visiting the sets more frequently. She further claimed that contrary to public perception, it was Karan who had shown interest in her, not the other way around.
The alleged incident dates back to the 2015 television series Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum, but Saanvie’s recent remarks have brought the controversy back into the spotlight. As of now, Karan Kundrra has not issued any public statement responding to these latest allegations.
