Shruti Haasan talks about ageism in Film industry

Ageism in the film industry is a problem that exists worldwide, according to Shruti Haasan, who recently discussed the subject openly. Shruti claimed in a recent interview that while we believe Hollywood to be progressive, this is false. The actor went on to say that although society in some way accepts a younger lady dating an older man, the opposite rarely occurs.
The actor stated, “In an interview with Pinkvilla, “I believe that ageism is a problem everywhere. Our world is dominated by youth and vanity, particularly in the era of social media. Is it something you wish to believe or not? Every age is endowed with grace and charm. I want to concentrate on those roles rather than getting into the whole ageism discussion because there are some roles that you can play with just a certain amount of age and experience.”
“I think it is natural in society,” she continued, “that if there is a younger lady with an older man, not many questions are made as to whether the older woman wishes to remarry or date again.”
“We believe Hollywood to be more progressive and forward-thinking, but this is absurd because everyone is facing the same issue. The planet, society, and industry are all dominated by men. We therefore fit within that. Am I up against the questioning itself? No, not just now, “the actor said.
