Rajpal Yadav’s emotional tribute to Mushtaq Khan has left fans heartbroken as he recalls meeting the actor just hours before his death.

The sudden loss of actor Mushtaq Khan has left the film industry mourning, but for Rajpal Yadav, the grief feels especially personal. The actor has shared an emotional memory of meeting his longtime industry colleague at Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital, just two hours before Mushtaq passed away.

Taking to Instagram, Rajpal shared a picture of Mushtaq and remembered their final interaction. He revealed that Mushtaq was awake during their meeting, recognised him, shook his hand and appeared to follow their conversation.

Rajpal said the reality of Mushtaq’s death was difficult for him to process because he had seen him just moments earlier. The actor described the meeting as one that he would carry with him, while paying tribute to Mushtaq’s contribution to Hindi cinema.

Mushtaq Khan had built a familiar face in Bollywood over several decades, appearing in films across different genres. From Aashiqui and Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke to Hera Pheri, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Stree, Badhaai Do, Gadar 2 and Stree 2, he became known for making even supporting characters memorable.

His passing has prompted an outpouring of tributes from colleagues and fans. Rajpal Yadav’s final meeting with him has added another deeply emotional chapter to the tributes pouring in for the veteran actor.

Mushtaq Khan is survived by his wife, son and daughter. His work, familiar screen presence and memorable characters will continue to live on through the films he left behind.
