Amaal Mallik Warns Music Industry Over Song Credits: ‘Music Ka SRK Hoon Main’
Amaal Mallik has once again taken to social media to call out what he claims is a lack of due credit in the music industry. The composer has been vocal about getting proper recognition for his work and has now warned music labels, producers and other industry professionals that he may publicly name them if the issue continues.
The controversy reportedly began after Amaal called out Salman Khan Films’ social media handles for sharing his song ‘Main Hoon Hero Tera’ without crediting him and lyricist Kumaar. He later made it clear that his issue was about credit and not directed at Salman Khan personally.
In a strongly worded post on X, Amaal said that if his name and his lyricists’ names are not included in the primary credits of his songs by the end of the year, he will hold a press conference and speak about the people involved.
He also asked social media users to stay away from his family, saying that criticism aimed at him is one thing but targeting his family will not be tolerated.

Amaal didn’t hold back while describing his mood in the middle of the ongoing controversy. In his post, he wrote:“Music ka SRK hoon main, Magar gussa mera Salman Khan Aur Sanjay Dutt wala hai.”
He went on to say that he stands firmly with his father Daboo Malik and his family, adding, “So, bhidna at your own risk.”
Amaal also addressed the criticism surrounding his family and said that he has spent years dealing with what he described as politics, hate and public scrutiny within the industry.
For now, the composer seems clear about one thing — he wants proper credit for his music and says he is no longer willing to stay silent about it.
