Delhi High Court Orders Removal Of Kala Hiran Teaser After Salman Khan’s Plea Over Reputation Concerns

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has received interim relief from the Delhi High Court, which has directed the removal of the teaser and promotional content related to the upcoming film Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy from online platforms. The order came after Salman approached the court, alleging that the film’s promotional material was linked to his personal life and could harm his reputation.

The court directed the makers to take down the teaser and other related promotional links within 24 hours. It also indicated that interviews given by the film’s producer Amit Jani would be removed as part of the order.

Salman Khan Raises Objections Over Film’s Content

Salman Khan’s legal team argued that the teaser of Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy contained references that allegedly pointed towards the actor and the controversial 1998 blackbuck case associated with him. The actor claimed that the promotional material affected his reputation and personality rights.

The court, while hearing the matter, observed concerns regarding the impact of such content being available publicly and stressed the importance of protecting an individual’s reputation.

    Kala Hiran Controversy Gains Momentum

The film had already attracted attention due to its alleged connection with the blackbuck case. The makers, however, have maintained their stance on the project, while the legal battle between Salman Khan and the film’s team continues.

Following the court’s direction, the teaser and promotional materials linked to the film will no longer remain available on the platforms mentioned in the petition.

The case has once again brought the discussion around personality rights, creative freedom, and the portrayal of real-life controversies in cinema into focus.
