Sonakshi Sinha and her husband Zaheer Iqbal recently gave fans a glimpse of their Ganpati celebrations as they joined the festivities at Arpita Khan Sharma’s residence in Mumbai.
The couple shared a video from the celebrations, where they were seen performing Ganesh aarti together. The clip also offered a peek at the beautifully decorated Ganpati idol and members of the Khan family joining in the festive celebrations.
For the occasion, Sonakshi opted for an elegant blue ethnic outfit, while Zaheer kept his look casual in a white T-shirt paired with black trousers. The couple appeared comfortable as they participated in the traditional prayers and sought Bappa’s blessings.
Sonakshi And Zaheer Turn Off Comments On Their Post
While sharing the festive moment with their followers, Sonakshi and Zaheer chose to keep the comments section switched off. The decision comes after the couple has faced online scrutiny and trolling over their interfaith marriage since tying the knot in June 2024.
Despite the attention surrounding their relationship, the two have continued to share glimpses of their life together while maintaining their own boundaries on social media.
The Couple Has Previously Spoken About Respecting Each Other’s Traditions
Sonakshi and Zaheer have also spoken about embracing each other’s cultural traditions. Sonakshi previously explained that they participate in each other’s celebrations, with Zaheer joining her for Diwali puja while she takes part in traditions at his family home.
