Bhojpuri star Aamrapali Dubey has officially entered Bigg Boss 20 and the actress is already making headlines for her bold statements and strong personality. Hosted by Salman Khan, the popular reality show marks a completely new journey for Aamrapali, who says she is finally ready to step out of her comfort zone.
Aamrapali revealed that she had been approached for Bigg Boss since Season 14, but she was never ready to take up the challenge. There was also a time when she simply did not want to be part of the show. However, this season changed her mind.
Talking about her decision, Aamrapali said, “The biggest reason to say yes to Bigg Boss is Salman Khan.” She also shared that she has always been a huge fan of the superstar and still remembers him as Prem from Hum Saath Saath Hain.
She added that after seeing the concept of Bigg Boss 20, she finally decided to give reality television a chance. “Today, everyone loves reality shows, so I thought I should give it a try,” she said.
The Controversy Around Her Adoption Plans
Before entering the Bigg Boss house, Aamrapali sparked conversations after speaking about her desire to remain unmarried and adopt a daughter. The issue gained attention when promotional clips suggested that her family was upset with her decision.
Addressing the controversy, Aamrapali clarified that the situation became problematic because the promos were presented in a certain way. She also spoke about the stigma women often face when they make unconventional choices.
“There is a stigma attached to everything that a woman tries to do in our society,” she said.
Aamrapali made it clear that she genuinely wants to adopt a daughter and explained the emotional reason behind her decision. “I truly want to adopt a daughter, not to give her a better life, but to better my life.”
She also spoke about how adoption should not carry any stigma and encouraged people to consider giving children a loving home.
A Strong Personality Inside the House?
Known for her outspoken nature, Aamrapali believes her strong-headed personality could help her survive inside the Bigg Boss house. However, she admits that no one can predict what really happens once the cameras start rolling.
“I am very strong-headed, but once I am inside the show, I cannot predict what will happen,” she said.
Aamrapali has watched Bigg Boss for years and believes she understands the game and its rules. But she also wants the experience to take her out of her comfort zone.
Interestingly, she believes her journey inside the house could change her as a person. “I think I will change as a person once I come out of the house,” Aamrapali shared.
Her Biggest Personal Regret
While Aamrapali says she has no regrets about her professional career, there are a few moments from her personal life she wishes she could relive.
She revealed that she would love to go back and spend more time with her family during festivals, as she was often busy with work. The actress also shared that she misses her late grandmother and wishes she could have spent more time with her.
