Archana Puran Singh’s Family Reacts to Samay Raina’s Viral ‘Nalla’ Joke

Samay Raina knows how to make people laugh — and sometimes, he also knows how to get the internet talking. His latest appearance with Archana Puran Singh on India’s Got Latent did exactly that.

During the episode, Samay took a few playful digs at Archana and her family, including jokes about her sons and their vlogging. While some viewers enjoyed the banter, others felt that the comedian had gone a little too far. Naturally, social media had plenty to say.

But now, Archana Puran Singh and her family have cleared the air, and their reaction is quite different from what the online controversy might suggest.

    Aaryamann Reacts To The Controversy

The clarification came through a new video on Aary Vlogs, the YouTube channel of Archana’s son Aaryamann Sethi. In the vlog, Aaryamann appeared alongside his mother and father, Parmeet Sethi, as the family addressed the jokes and the reactions surrounding them.

And their message was simple: there are no hard feelings.

Aaryamann explained that he normally doesn’t comment on such conversations, but this time he felt it was worth addressing because, according to him, the whole thing was simply meant to be funny.

He also pointed out that the joke about the family spending most of their time at home wasn’t exactly completely off the mark, considering that their vlogs often feature their everyday life at home.

“It Was A Joke,” Says Aaryamann

Aaryamann made it clear that he didn’t see Samay’s comments as a personal attack. His point was that comedy often involves people making fun of situations, and viewers don’t necessarily need to take every punchline seriously.

He also stressed that Samay had no intention of hurting him or anyone in the family.

And honestly, that’s probably the biggest takeaway from the whole episode. What became a controversy online wasn’t necessarily a controversy inside the family.

    Archana Isn’t Taking Offence Either

Archana also appeared unfazed by the comments. Given her years in comedy and entertainment, she seems to understand that jokes can sometimes get personal without actually being malicious.

The actress has made it clear that she didn’t feel insulted by Samay’s remarks and understood the banter for what it was — comedy.

Her family seems to be on the same page.

The Internet Took It More Seriously Than They Did?

This is where things get interesting. Social media can sometimes turn one joke into a full-blown debate within minutes. While viewers were busy discussing whether Samay crossed a line, Archana’s own family appears to have simply laughed it off.

For them, it was simply a comedy moment that stayed a comedy moment. And perhaps that’s the clearest response to all the online noise — sometimes, a joke really is just a joke.
