Shah Rukh Khan is known for his generous nature and heartwarming personality. Friends, family and fans have quite often spoken of the actor’s courteous and giving side, which clearly explains why he will always be King Khan. In a recent podcast on Mama’s Couch with Laxman Utekar, an interesting anecdote between Shah Rukh Khan and the Chhaava director was highlighted.
In the episode, Laxman reveals that during the shooting of ‘Dear Zindagi’ in Goa, Shah Rukh Khan would invite Laxman for parties and he would never turn up. However, after the wrap of the Mumbai schedule, SRK insisted that the actor meets him. Not only did the King Khan want to meet him but also wrote him a letter and gave him two books as a gift.
In the same interview, Laxman praised SRK and said, “Shah Rukh sir ke saath kaam nahi kiya toh aap ne kya hi Kiya. Working with him, having him on set is like different energy, you’re dealing with different positive energy. His aura… He’s such a nice person. Main toh har ek kisi ko kehta hoon, industry mein ho koshish karna ke ek baar unke saath kaam karo. Bahut kuch seekhne ko milta hai.”
Shah Rukh Khan’s heartwarming gestures leaves a mark on one and all and the incident shared by Laxman Utekar is just another example of the same.
