Avinash Tiwary starrer ‘The Mehta Boys’ is set to have a premiere at the esteemed Indian Film Festival Berlin, Germany. The film will be showcased on the opening night of the festival on January 10, 2025. The widely acclaimed film tells a heart-touching story about a father-son bond and the nuances of their strained relationship. As ‘The Mehta Boys’ is geared up for its premiere on the opening night at the Indian Film Festival Berlin, Avinash Tiwary expressed excitement, and called the moment a “matter of great honour”.
Speaking about the same, Avinash Tiwary says, “It’s a matter of great honor to have our film play out to a mix of Indian and International audience in Germany. ‘The Mehta Boys‘, which marks Boman Irani‘s directorial debut, was also honoured at the Chicago South Asian Film Festival with an award for its gripping story and outstanding performances. Beyond Avinash Tiwary and Boman Irani, the film also stars Shreya Chaudhary, and Puja Sarup in pivotal roles. Produced by Boman Irani, Danesh Irani, Vikesh Bhutani, and Shujaat Saudagar, ‘The Mehta Boys’ is written by Academy Award winner Alex Dinelaris Jr., writer of ‘Birdman’ and ‘The Revenant’. The film is slated to release on Amazon Prime video soon.
