Overall Rating : 3/5

Plot : An unusual and quirky story of a middle-class father-son duo played by Sanjay Dutt and Parth Samthaan from Delhi in which father who adores his son doesn’t want his son to get married with the love of his life and a father-loving son doesn’t want his 60-year-old father to get married to the mother (Raveena Tandon) of the love of his life played by Khushalii Kumar.

What We Loved : The much-awaited debut of Parth Samthaan is finally here and it shows him how exactly he deserves. The actor plays a Delhi lad, Chirag Sharma, a well-rounded charmer who excels at his job as well as is an excellent son who loves his family. Parth’s comic-timing stood out as we watched the film and he is one of the pillars of the movie who elevated the overall watching-experience. He looked ready for the game ahead and has delivered a dependable act in his debut film only. We can’t wait for what the actor has to offer in coming times.

What We Liked : The range of Raveena Tandon is immense and it shows each time we see her onscreen. Her easiness on the screen where she makes every character her own is indeed her USP as an actor and she is no different in Ghudchadi as the radiant Menka. She is fiercely self-dependent but also is open to have a window for love in her life. She has raised a daughter on her own, Devika for whom she is ready to sacrifice all her joys even when she knows she will thrive if she finds them. Her scenes with Khushalii have come out very adorable and they represent a new-age mother-daughter duo to the T. Also, Khushalii’s scenes where she exhibits her sass and the firebrand of her character have come out well.

What We Didn’t Like : The film under-utilized the power-pairing of Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt where just a few scenes and a romantic track couldn’t do enough justice to the iconic pairing. We wished to see more of them!

Conclusion : If you are looking for a move to watch with your family and friends which has the entertainment-factor adequately infused along with the right amount of drama, family-feuds and twists, Ghudchadi can be your easy-watch!
