    Ranveer Singh to Alia Bhatt, Indian celebs who signed up with Hollywood agencies

    Hollywood is currently a popular destination for many Bollywood stars and directors. To hire talent from India, they have agreements with top talent agencies. Ranveer Singh recently joined William Morris Endeavour (WME), an international talent agency. International celebrities including Gal Gadot, Emma Stone, Oprah, and Charlize Theron are all represented by the same agency. Ranveer has reportedly signed with WME for global representation, according to a story in Deadline.

    RANVEER SINGH
    In order to land Hollywood projects, Ranveer Singh has joined forces with the global talent agency William Morris Endeavour (WME). In the 2010 Yash Raj Film romantic comedy Band Baaja Baaraat, in which he co-starred with Anushka Sharma, the actor made his acting debut. According to Deadline, he will continue to be handled by India’s Collective Artists Network. Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh’s next film together is Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani. Recently, the movie’s first-look posters were made available. Cirkus, his most recent movie, performed poorly at the box office.

    Alia Bhatt also made progress towards achieving her goal of dominating the world in 2021. The actress also joined William Morris Endeavour. The actress joined the agency, according a story in Deadline, because she “eyes opportunities in the US.” The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress is still being defended by Steve Warren, Matrix, and Echo Lake Entertainment. Alia will soon make her Hollywood debut in Heart of Stone, starring Gal Gadot.

    Actress Freida Pinto from Slumdog Millionaire was also under WME’s management. She has acted in a number of Hollywood productions, such as Mr. Malcolm’s List, Royal Detective, A Christmas Number One, Intrusion, Needle in a Timestack, Hillbilly Elegy, Love Wedding Repeat, Only, The Path, Yamasong: March of the Hollows, and others.

    SANJAY LEELA BHANSALI
    Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is also eyeing opportunities in Hollywood. According to Deadline, the filmmaker and his banner, Bhansali Productions, have signed up with the Hollywood agency WME. SLB had also attempted to stage an international campaign for his film, Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt. Over the course of his three-decade career, Sanjay has held positions as a producer, editor, scriptwriter, and composer of music. His work has frequently been recognised on a global scale. The period drama series Heeramandi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s most well-known foreign undertaking, is currently under production. The director will also produce Rowdy Rathore 2, the much awaited sequel.

    SUMUKHI SURESH AND DEBBIE RAO
    Sumukhi Suresh, a comedian, and Debbie Rao, a director, have added their names to the expanding list of Indian performers signed by a Hollywood talent agency. The renowned WME agency is representing the two. They were signed in September 2019 by WME, who will represent them for their writing, acting, and directing projects outside of Asia.
    The longest-running talent agency that oversees sports, media, events, and fashion is William Morris Agency, founded in 1898. It received the Agency of the Year honour at the Billboard Live Music Awards in 2019. Hollywood celebrities including Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Matt Damon, Michelle Williams, Ben Affleck, and Jennifer Garner are among those represented by WME.

    SS RAJAMOULI
    Filmmaker SS Rajamouli was signed by the American talent agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA) following the enormous success of RRR in the West. According to Deadline, “in a coup for the agency, CAA has signed in-demand Indian filmmaker SS Rajamouli.” The West was pleased with Rajamouli’s RRR, which starred Jr. NTR and Ram Charan and received a tonne of love from Hollywood. Naatu Naatu, a song from the movie, also received an Oscar.

    PRIYANKA CHOPRA
    Today, Priyanka Chopra is a household name. She has acted in numerous Hollywood films and online shows. The actress was the first Bollywood celebrity to be signed by CAA in 2012. Anjula Acharia-Bath, a Los Angeles native who co-founded Desi Hits, was crucial in getting Chopra signed to CAA.

    SONAM KAPOOR
    Sonam Kapoor prepared for her worldwide endeavour in 2016 by joining the United Talent Agency (UTA) in the US. Sonam had never before had a representation in the West. Mariah Carey, Chris Brown, Kanye West, Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Oscar Isaac, Martin Freeman, Benedict Cumberbatch, and a host of other well-known stars are all represented by UTA.

    RADHIKA APTE
    Radhika Apte was cast as one of the main characters in the 2018 Lydia Dean Pilcher-directed World War II spy drama. One of the largest talent agencies in the world, United Talent Agency (UTA), signed the actress. She costarred with Dev Patel in Michael Winterbottom’s motion picture The Wedding Guest. In the UK, Curtis Brown Group is still her agent.

    ALI FAZAL
    Ali Fazal was seen in the Hollywood movie Death on the Nile. In 2017, he had signed up with a talent management firm Julian Belfrage Associates. He had said in a statement at the time, “My question to Victoria Belfrage (managing director) was why me and what did she see in me to sign me on. She got excited of all the footage she saw of ‘Victoria and Abdul’ and I guess she saw something in me which she thought had promise. I am really excited to be signed on by Julian Belfrage Associates who manage some of the best talent out there and I am really excited for this new dimension and beginning. It’s a new market for me. I will be launching myself here and it’s all very new.”

    HRITHIK ROSHAN
    The ‘Greek God’ of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan has been signed up by Gersh Agency in the United States. As per reports, the actor will be making his Hollywood debut with a spy thriller.
