Irregularities and lapses have been found against seven to eight Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officials, including a senior officer, and action recommended by the NCB vigilance committee.
In August, the vigilance committee submitted a 3,000-page chargesheet against the seven-eight officers for irregularities not only in the Aryan case, but two-three other cases too, said sources. The officers include those of NCB, some who were deputed to it, and some who are no longer with the bureau.
