Shriya Pilgaonkar is the daughter of renowned actors Sachin Pilgaonkar and Supriya Pilgaonkar, but unlike most star kids, she did not have a dreamy launch in the entertainment industry.
She said “I feel like I haven’t done enough of it (movies). I’m just working really hard and to be honest, this is an industry that’s based on talent, luck and opportunity, all three factors, so a lot of it is really not in your hands but I’m somebody who’s always had a positive attitude and my work has always spoken for itself. That’s how my journey has been from the beginning, it’s been step-by-step and not a typical star kid journey so I’m very proud of that as I feel like that’s what has gotten me respect and yes, of course, my parents are very happy and proud that my work has been appreciated.”
