Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are set to share the Koffee With Karan couch once again, with the Bollywood couple currently shooting an episode for the show’s ninth season.
According to an exclusive report by Filmfare, Kareena and Saif are filming together for Koffee With Karan Season 9. Their appearance will mark only the second time the couple has appeared together on Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show.
The timing makes their reunion even more notable as Season 9 has been confirmed as the final season of Koffee With Karan. Karan Johar announced the show’s conclusion on September 30, bringing the long-running celebrity chat show’s 22-year journey toward its final chapter. The ninth season is scheduled to premiere on JioHotstar on October 14, 2026.
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s Koffee With Karan Reunion
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan first appeared together on Koffee With Karan during Season 3 in 2010.
At that time, the two were dating. They later married in 2012, making their Season 9 appearance a return to the famous couch as a married couple. Filmfare notes that their upcoming appearance comes 16 years after their first joint appearance on the show.
Kareena has also appeared on the show several times independently. She featured alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas in Season 6 and later joined Alia Bhatt for Season 8. Saif, meanwhile, has also appeared on the programme in previous seasons.
Their latest appearance therefore brings together two familiar faces from the show’s history for what will be its final season.
Koffee With Karan Season 9 Will Be the Final Season
The Kareena-Saif episode comes shortly after Karan Johar confirmed that Koffee With Karan Season 9 will be the show’s final season.
The filmmaker announced the decision through an emotional message, reflecting on how the show began in 2004 and eventually became one of the most recognisable celebrity chat formats in India. The ninth season will bring the programme’s 22-year run to an end.
Season 9 will premiere on October 14, 2026, on JioHotstar.
Kareena and Saif Join a Star-Studded Season
Several names have been linked to the upcoming season, although not every reported guest pairing has been officially confirmed.
Filmfare has also reported that Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan will appear together, while Kareena and Saif are scheduled for a separate episode.
Earlier reports have also mentioned possible appearances involving stars such as Aamir Khan, Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna and others. However, reports about some of these pairings remain subject to official confirmation.
What Could Make Kareena and Saif’s Episode Special?
The biggest point of interest is the couple’s history with the show.
Their first joint appearance came when they were dating. Their upcoming appearance comes years after their marriage and during the final season of a programme that has documented many major Bollywood conversations over the years.
That gives the episode a natural retrospective angle, particularly for viewers who remember their first appearance together.
For Kareena, it is also another return to a show where she has been a recurring guest across different seasons.
