Rashmika Mandanna clearly still has a major crush on Vijay Deverakonda and she isn’t shy about admitting it. The actress recently shared a glimpse of their upcoming film Ranabaali on Instagram, but it was her adorable note for Vijay that caught everyone’s attention.
Sharing a clip featuring the couple’s song Endhayya Saami, Rashmika wrote, “It’s crazy that he is all mine, but I still can’t stop crushing on him.”
And Vijay’s response was every bit as sweet.
Replying to Rashmika’s post, Vijay wrote, “I am blessed. I will miss Jayamma. But then I have you for life.” The romantic exchange instantly had fans talking, with many loving the couple’s playful yet affectionate social-media interaction.
Rashmika And Vijay To Share The Screen Again In Ranabaali
The couple will be seen together in Ranabaali, marking another on-screen collaboration between the two. Vijay plays the titular character, Ranabaali, while Rashmika stars as Jayamma, his wife and companion.
Set in 19th-century South India, the film draws from the devastating Madras Famine of 1876-78 and follows a rebellious warrior who stands up against colonial oppression while fighting to protect his people.
The film also features Arnold Vosloo as Sir Theodore Hector, a British colonial official who serves as one of the central antagonists in the story.
A Love Story Amid A Story Of Survival
While Ranabaali is rooted in a difficult period of history, the film also explores themes of resistance, survival and courage. Vijay’s character finds himself battling powerful forces, while Rashmika’s Jayamma stands beside him through the struggle.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Ranabaali is scheduled to hit theatres on October 16, 2026.
For now, though, it seems fans are just as interested in the real-life romance behind the screen — especially when Rashmika is openly admitting that she still can’t stop crushing on Vijay.
