Bigg Boss 20 has just begun, and while the contestant lineup has received mixed reactions, one name is already grabbing attention for a surprising reason. Arishfa Khan, one of the youngest contestants on the show, has a massive social media following that even surpasses several Bollywood and South Indian film stars.
Hosted by Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 20 premiered on September 6, bringing together television actors, digital creators, athletes and other personalities. Among them, Arishfa enters the house with an impressive 29.1 million Instagram followers.
Who Is Arishfa Khan?
Arishfa is not new to the entertainment industry. Born in 2003, she started her acting career as a child artist in 2012 with Chhal – Sheh Aur Maat. She later appeared in shows including Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera, Uttaran, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Gangaa and Meri Durga.
Her mother worked as a stuntwoman and Arishfa would accompany her to sets, where she developed an interest in acting. In 2018, she got her first lead role in Papa By Chance on Star Bharat.
Over the years, Arishfa moved beyond television and built a huge digital following. She became especially popular during the TikTok era and later continued creating content on Instagram and other platforms.
Today, her content includes GRWM videos, lifestyle posts, travel content and trending reels, along with appearances in music videos.
Arishfa Has More Instagram Followers Than Several Big Stars
Arishfa’s 29.1 million followers put her ahead of some of India’s biggest film personalities.
Kareena Kapoor has around 13.9 million followers, while Janhvi Kapoor has approximately 26.7 million. Among South Indian stars, Allu Arjun has around 27.9 million and Prabhas has about 13.9 million.
What makes Arishfa’s numbers particularly interesting is that she has built this audience without being the lead of a major theatrical blockbuster. Her popularity has largely come from television and digital content.
The Most Followed Bigg Boss 20 Contestant
Inside the Bigg Boss 20 house, Arishfa is reportedly the most-followed contestant on Instagram.
Her following is significantly higher than that of her fellow contestants. ScoutOP has around 4.4 million followers, while Mahhi Vij has approximately 2.2 million and Mary Kom has around 2 million. Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, has around 1.4 million, while Isha Rikhi has approximately 1.1 million.
However, a massive Instagram following does not necessarily guarantee success on Bigg Boss. The real challenge will be whether Arishfa can turn her online popularity into audience support once viewers get to see her personality inside the house.

Bigg Boss 20 has introduced the theme ‘Extra Jeevan Daan’, giving contestants two lives and an additional chance to save themselves from elimination.
The house has also been designed around an Alice in Wonderland-inspired theme, while tensions among the contestants have already started emerging.
With the season only beginning, Arishfa’s enormous digital fan base makes her one of the contestants worth watching. She may be among the youngest faces in the house, but when it comes to social media reach, she has already made a very big entrance.
