Mahhi Vij is now inside the Bigg Boss 20 house, and the actress has already made it clear that there are certain parts of her personal life she does not want to bring in front of the cameras.
Known for shows like Laagi Tujhse Lagan, Balika Vadhu, Nach Baliye, Khatron Ke Khiladi and Seher Hone Ko Hai, Mahhi decided to take up Bigg Boss after initially turning down the offer. She revealed that the offer came to her around 20 days before she entered the show, and she felt this was simply the right time to try something new.
Mahhi also clarified that she did not leave Seher Hone Ko Hai for Bigg Boss. She said leaving the show was a difficult decision because it was very close to her heart and she wasn’t mentally prepared to say goodbye to it.
Mahhi Doesn’t Want To Talk About Her Separation
Mahhi and Jay Bhanushali announced their separation earlier this year after 14 years of marriage. With Bigg Boss known for bringing contestants’ personal lives into the spotlight, there was naturally curiosity about whether Mahhi would discuss her relationship on the show.
Her answer is clear — she doesn’t want to.
Mahhi said her separation is deeply personal and she would prefer to keep it private. At the same time, she revealed that she still discusses important decisions with Jay, whether they are related to her career or other matters.
Bigg Boss Isn’t A Career Revival Move
Mahhi also dismissed the idea that she has entered Bigg Boss to revive her acting career. According to her, she could have chosen other ways to make a comeback.
However, she does acknowledge the impact Bigg Boss can have on a celebrity’s career. She has seen contestants become household names after appearing on the reality show and believes the experience can change a person’s career path.
Being Away From Daughter Tara Is The Hardest Part
While the Bigg Boss experience is exciting, staying away from her daughter Tara is clearly the emotional part for Mahhi.
She admitted that leaving Tara was a difficult decision, especially because they have always been together. Mahhi believes her daughter is strong enough to understand her mother’s professional commitments.
The actress also hopes Tara gets to see her professional journey through Bigg Boss. And once she walks out of the house, Mahhi is looking forward to spending plenty of time with her daughter again.
