Actor Shahid Kapoor has reportedly taken a proactive step to ensure better working conditions during the Delhi schedule of his upcoming film #Cocktail2, as air pollution levels in the capital continue to remain a serious concern.
According to a crew member’s account, Shahid insisted on arranging air purifiers on set to help manage the poor air quality and ensure a safer environment for the cast and crew during outdoor and indoor shoots.
The report further highlights the challenges faced during filming in Delhi’s high pollution conditions, where crew members often had to wear masks off-camera and remove them only during takes. Despite these difficult circumstances, the shoot reportedly continued with necessary precautions in place.
Shahid’s move has been seen as a considerate gesture towards crew welfare, especially given the increasing awareness around health risks caused by deteriorating AQI levels in major cities.
The actor is currently working on Cocktail 2, one of his upcoming projects that has already generated curiosity among audiences.
