6 Best Moments From Salman Khan, Aamir Khan’s Too Much Episode

Kajol and Twinkle’s new show, Too Much’s first episode has taken over the internet and how. The superstars guests of the show were Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, and they were just raw and unfiltered versions of themselves. The iconi ‘Amar-Prem’ pair reunited after decades and this episode sure did bring back old memories, fun banter, revelations and heartfelt confessions.

Too Much’s first episode opens with laughter and nostalgic memories. Salman Khan jokingly mentions that Aamir Khan and he went to the same school – though he doesn’t remember much of it. The conversation gradually shifts towards emotional and heart-touching moments. For the first time in all the years, Aamir admits that he was judgmental about Salman in the beginning. He said,

“I had a very judgmental attitude towards Salman. I used to be a very strict person in those days. During the shooting of Andaz Apna Apna, I always felt Salman never came on time, and that caused us trouble.”

Aamir went on to reveal that their real friendship began over dinner. He said,

“Do you remember? When Reena and I were going through our divorce, Salman came over for dinner. That’s when our real friendship started.”

While sitting on the couch, Aamir also opened up about his personal life. Salman shared an emotional memory, saying that when Aamir’s son Junaid was born, he looked after him for almost 45 days. Twinkle Khanna, smiling, added, “…And you did the same for Aarav too.”
Aamir also spoke openly about relationships and praised both his ex-wives – Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. The ‘Mr. Perfectionist’ confirmed that he is now fully committed to Gauri Spratt.

Salman too opened up about his relationships. He said,

“When one partner outgrows the other, that’s when cracks begin to form in a relationship. Both need to grow together without becoming a burden on each other. If my relationships didn’t work out, the blame is on me.”

The man who rules millions of hearts – Salman Khan – also shared one of his painful personal experiences. He revealed that he battled Trigeminal Neuralgia for 7 years – a condition where pain feels like electric shocks on the face. He said,

“I wouldn’t wish it even on my enemy.”

Salman first experienced the symptoms during the shooting of the film Partner.

Salman’s revelations were deeply moving as he also expressed a heartfelt desire:

“I will have kids, very soon. Just wait and watch.”
To this, host Twinkle Khanna jokingly quipped that he might already have a dozen kids secretly. Salman, with his signature wit, replied,
“If that were true, you would definitely know about it.”

Emotions ran high, and even Aamir and Salman had tears in their eyes. The show’s host Kajol had tears well up when Salman recalled his bond with her late father, Shomu Mukherjee. He said,

“I was very close to him. Just two days before he passed away, he came to my house – wearing a kurta and lungi. He wasn’t feeling well, but he said to me, ‘Make me a drink.’ When I refused, he laughed and said, ‘Yaar, I only have a couple of days left anyway.’ And, sadly, he passed away two days later.”

At such an intense moment, someone with a jolly vibe was needed to lift the mood. And who better than Kajol? She laughed and recalled her first meeting with Salman when she was 12 years old. Back then, she had called him “Uncle”! She had no idea she would one day be paired opposite him on the big screen. This story had everyone on set bursting into laughter. From just the first episode, it’s clear that this show will remain the talk of the town for a long time.
