Mike Batayeh, Breaking Bad star, passes away at 52 due to heart attack

Mike Batayeh has passed away at the age of 52. He was best known for playing laundromat manager Dennis Markowski on Breaking Bad. The actor breathed his last due to a heart attack during his sleep at his Michigan home on June 1, his family confirmed to The Post. His funeral service will be held June 17 at Risen Christ Lutheran Church in Plymouth, Michigan. Reports suggest that Mike Batayeh’s death was very sudden, according to his relatives. He did not have a history of heart issues.
He will be greatly missed by those who loved him and his great ability to bring laughter and joy to so many,” his family said to reporters.
Mike Batayeh’s agent Arlene Thornton said in a statement to USA TODAY, “He was one of our favorite clients as he was a great actor and very funny guy who had fans all around the world.”
Mike appeared in three episodes of Breaking Bad, from 2011 to 2012. He portrayed the role of Dennis Markowski, the manager of Lavander­a Brillante industrial laundromat. It was run by drug kingpin Gustavo Fring (Giancarlo Esposito).
He also appeared in movies like American Dreamz (2006), This Narrow Place (2011) and Detroit Unleaded (2012). Mike Batayeh last acted in the 2018 television movie Prank of America.
