The selection of the most suitable contemporary actress to portray the great figure of Indian cinema, who produced hits like Mughal-e-Azam, Neel Kamal, and more, became a hot topic on the internet. During this discussion, names like Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Deepika Padukone were suggested. Many others, nevertheless, also opted for Kangana Ranaut to play Madhubala in the big-screen version. The actress responded to this by sharing memories of her early days in the Hindi film industry on her Instagram stories. She also compared herself to the young Madhubala.
”As people want me to play cinema goddess madhubala on screen, when I started out I was a replica of madhubala’s younger days not sure about it now.” Kangana Ranaut wrote in her stories. She also shared a couple of pictures from her younger days in the industry.
While fans of the actress were elated to find out that she responded to their wish, many were left perplexed by Kangana’s comparison with the iconic actress. One fan also quipped that she had already started auditioning for the Madhubala biopic.
