One of the much awaited Prequels of Pan-Indian Cinema, Kantara Chapter 1 has dropped its trailer and it digs deeper into folklore. Directed by and starring Rishab Shetty, Kantara Chapter 1 is produced by Hombale films. The movie also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, Jayaram and the late Rakesh Poojary.
Kantara Chapter 1 trailer explore the legacy of the Kadambas. It shows Rishabh Shetty as the fierce warrior who defends the villagers from tyranny and rises against the cruel king inevitably playing the role of the divine protector as is in the foretold legend. Geographically placed in the Karnataka region, the movie is believed to dive deep into the ancestral conflict and mythological aspects as shown Kantara.
Taking the route of an unconventional kind, the makers decided to skip the teaser get right into the trailer release. The trailer was released in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and Telugu. Being one of the most awaited films of the year, Kantara Chapter 1’s trailer sure has peaked the excitement for the release. The movie is set to release in cinemas on the October 2, 2025.
