The first song from ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani’ was released on June 28. Titled ‘Tum Kya Mile’, the song is sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal. However, though both of them have lent their voice to the song, when the teaser was announced, Shreya was not given any credits.

The teaser released on Tuesday,June 27, listed Karan Johar, Pritam, Arijit Singh and Amitabh Bhattacharya as a ‘dream team’, without giving any credit to Shreya. This caused an uproar amongst her fans.
While the incident has left the singer’s fans angry, she too, took to Twitter and retweeted a post that read, “I for real hate the second priority treatment given to @shreyaghoshal when she’s in fact singing the most beautiful part of the song! (sic)” The retweet is no longer available on her timeline.
However, the singer later on tweeted about the song and wrote, “After so long a song that defines the perfect comeback of the great rich musical romantic #KaranJohar style Bollywood that we missed so badly! #TumKyaMile is pure love. Song out now.. Love you @arijitsingh, you sound heart melting beautiful (sic).”
‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani’ is an upcoming romantic film that is helmed by Karan Johar and is backed by Dharma Productions. The film will feature stars like Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Shabana Azmi. The music is composed by Pritam and the lyrics have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. ‘Tum Kya Mile’ is the first song from the film’s soundtrack that was released on June 28.
