Shraddha Kapoor has won fans all over with her charm and her talent. Last seen in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, the actress was seen at the pre-finale of the Indian Premiere League (IPL) at the Narendra Modi stadium on May 28. Unfortunately, the finals had to be called off due to heavy rainfall. Sparking a meme a fest, many social media users pointed out that Shraddha might be the reason for the sudden rains. Now, the actress has reacted to it.
Fans were prepared to watch the epic battle between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings in Ahmedabad at IPL finale. However, the weather played a spoilsport. It kept raining, so much that not even a single delivery was possible and the final was pushed into reserve day for the first time in the history of the IPL.
Netizens quickly turned it to a meme fest and claimed that it was Shraddha Kapoor who caused the rain. The reason – the number of rain songs she has been a part of. The actress has given some of the most iconic songs under the drizzles in films like Aashiqui 2, Ek Villian, Baaghi and Half- Girlfriend.
Now, the actress took to her social media reacting to this gesture by the fans. She shared a meme on her story and reacted with emojis. Memes started doing the rounds after the IPL finale was pushed to a reserve day after incessant rain.
The actress is currently riding high on the success of the latest film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, both on the big screen as well as on OTT. Shraddha will be seen in Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2.
