Priyanka Chopra hosted a special screening of SS Rajamouli’s RRR in the US ahead of Cannes 2023. She also gave a shout-out to the film on her social media pages. However, the actress has revealed in a recent interview that she has not watched RRR yet. The film, starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, won the Oscar 2023 for Best Original Song.
Recently, Priyanka took a lie-detector test, hosted by Vanity Fair. She was asked if she had seen RRR and she replied in negative. She said, “I just didn’t get time. I don’t watch a lot of movies but I watch a lot of TV shows. I watch Dubai Bling, but I won’t end up watching Tar.”
A few months ago, Priyanka Chopra hosted a screening of RRR in the US. She shared a picture with SS Rajamouli and composer MM Keeravaani. She wrote, “Least I can do to contribute to this incredible Indian film’s journey. Good luck and congratulations @RRRMovie (sic).”
However, she was brutally trolled after she called RRR a Tamil film. This happened when she interrupted an Amercian podcast host, who called RRR a Bollywood film. Both of them got it wrong as RRR is a Telugu film.
