Salman Khan has been hitting the headlines since frequent death threats for the star. Now, Mumbai Police has issued a lookout circular against a man accused of sending threatening emails to Salman. The suspect here is a third-year medical student from Haryana studying in the UK. According to a report from Etimes, the suspect’s identity has not been revealed as the legal process to get him extradited to India is underway. The student will likely return to India by the end of this year when his academic session completes.
According to officials, Mumbai police suspect that the threatening email sent to actor Salman Khan was a prank by a third-year medical student from Haryana studying in the UK. The police have ruled out any connection between the email and gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar.
The man allegedly sent threatening messages to Salman in the name of gangster Goldy Brar in March. The suspect’s identity has not been revealed as legal proceedings are underway to extradite him to India. He is expected to return to India by the end of the year when his academic session concludes.
Salman Khan, who has been facing death threats for a while, recently shared how he copes with the situation. Speaking on a TV show, the actor revealed that he had been provided with Y+ category security by the Mumbai Police due to the threat. He also shared that while he feels better with security, it has made it difficult for him to go out and ride a bicycle or move around freely. Salman admitted that he often gets scared seeing so many guns around him and does whatever he has been told to ensure his safety.
The superstar was recently seen in ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, and now he is gearing up to entertain fans with ‘Tiger 3’, which will hit the theatres this Diwali.
