Yesterday, following a news portal’s revelation, the rumour that Karan Johar is producing “Dhadak 2” alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri became viral. Janhvi Kapoor made her acting debut in “Dhadak,” which also starred Ishaan Khatter and was a replica of the popular Marathi movie “Sairat.” According to recent rumours, Siddhant and Tripti are working with KJo to create the sequel to the movie.
Karan Johar has used social media to clarify that he is not producing a movie named ‘Dhadak 2’. He shared a story stating that Dharma Productions is not involved in the creation of any movie with this title, despite the fact that various articles have reported otherwise. This information is being put forth for the record and to alleviate any concerns.
While Karan has said that he is not making a movie with the title “Dhadak 2,” he has not provided any other information. Siddhant and Tripti are not confirmed or denied to be in the movie by the producer. According to reports, Shazia Iqbal, a first-time director, will helm the movie, which is expected to start production in the second half of the year. It was reportedly a passionate love story. However, because the movie needs a great ensemble, the supporting cast is now being finalised.
Fans now await the official confirmation on the casting of Siddhant and Tripti, for a film under Karan’s banner. We shall wait for more details.
