On Tuesday, Alia Bhatt criticised a publication for violating her privacy. The actress posted a collage of two photos (taken by paparazzi working for a media outlet) on her Instagram stories in which she is seen relaxing in her living room. She attached the photographs with an angry email that said, “Are you serious? I was at home, enjoying a completely ordinary afternoon in my LIVING ROOM, when I sensed someone or something observing me. When I raised my head, I noticed two men on the terrace of the building next to me, looking directly at me with a camera.”
She wrote these words at the end of her note: “What kind of universe does this fit into? Someone’s privacy has been blatantly violated! All lines were crossed today, and there are some things you should never do.” The Mumbai police have also been mentioned in the actress’ post.
Alia Bhatt has previously criticised the media. She once criticised a media article from the time of her pregnancy that said Ranbir Kapoor could visit the UK to “bring his wife home” (Alia was in London filming her Hollywood debut Heart Of Stone). Alia clarified that she doesn’t need to be “picked up” or given rest on her Instagram, adding that none of the schedules were being impacted in any way.
