In Hyderabad, production on Nag Ashwin’s Project K (working title) has restarted with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. In December, the pair shot a schedule, and Prabhas even gave Deepika a lavish array of his favourite foods while they were on location. The producers also extended some southern hospitality by presenting Deepika with a pattu saree, pasupu, kumkum, and other items upon her arrival. Amitabh Bachchan co-stars in the sci-fi movie, which is a national endeavour in India.
While last year, the star had simple wishes for her on her birthday, it looks like he has gotten to know her a little better now. Sharing a gorgeous picture of her in a pink dress, he wrote, “Happy Birthday to the girl with the gorgeous smile, @deepikapadukone. The one who lights up the #ProjectK sets with her energy and talent. Wish you the best, always! (sic)” The actress is yet to respond to his wishes at the time of writing. Nag Ashwin is also yet to wish her.
Fans are anticipating Deepika’s Telugu debut in Project K where she will co-star with Prabhas. In the near future, Radhe Shyam, Salaar, Adipurush, and Spirit will also feature the latter.
