Due to a regulation infraction, Twitter has suspended the popular South Indian actor Kishore Kumar G’s account. The actor is well-known as a farmer’s rights activist, and he recently shared his thoughts on establishment backlash. In the movie Kantara and Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1, Kishore has important parts.
Kishore earlier supported Sai Pallavi’s divisive statement equating Muslim crimes with the massacre of Kashmiri Pandits. He had questioned why the doctor-turned-actress was the target of a media witch hunt, and he had enquired of reporters whether it was wrong for movie stars to share their opinions on social matters.
The reason for suspending his account is still unknown but he is well-known for speaking out on political and social issues.
The actor, 48, gained notoriety in 2013 for his performance as Veerappan in the Kannada movie Attahasa. His performance in the Indian TV series The FamG’sG’ily Man and the movie Kantara recently earned him praise across all of India.
