Hiraba Modi, the mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, passed away on Friday at the age of 100 in Ahmedabad at the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre. Movie stars including Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, Kapil Sharma, Anupam Kher, Swara Bhasker, and Ajay Devgn among others sent their sympathies to PM Modi on social media.
There is no greater loss than losing one’s mother, as Akshay Kumar stated in a tweet that was posted in Hindi. May God grant you the fortitude to endure this loss. “May God grant the Prime Minister the strength to go through this terrible period,” Kangana Ranaut wrote in an Instagram story she shared.
Respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Anupam Kher tweeted in Hindi, ” It breaks my heart to learn about your mother’s Hiraba death. She could tell how much you cared and respected her. Nobody can replace her in your life. But you are the nation’s son. You are being blessed by all the mothers in the country, including mine.
Losing a mother is terrible, as Kapil Sharma noted in a writing. Your life will always be blessed by her. May God accept her at His feet. Respected Modi ji, Mothers don’t go anyplace; instead, they go to paradise so that their son might do better for others, wrote Sonu Sood. Your mother has been and will continue to be by your side forever.
Vivek Agnihotri, Swara Bhasker, Ajay Devgn also offered their condolences to the PM.
On her passing away, PM Modi said, “A glorious century rests at the feet of God… In Maa I have always felt that trinity, which contains the journey of an ascetic, the symbol of a selfless Karmayogi and a life committed to values.” He added, “When I met her on her 100th birthday, she said one thing which I always remember: work with intelligence, live life with purity.”
