And today, in honour of “Bhai Ka Birthday,” Salman Khan’s admirers are sharing an old handwritten note, which is sure to bring back fond memories.
Salman wrote the handwritten open letter four months after Maine Pyaar Kiya hit theatres. The famous person thanked his admirers for their unending love and support in the letter. On December 29, 1989, Maine Pyaar Kiya was released, and four months later, he addressed a message to his fans in which he stated, “Here is a little things I want you guys to know about me. First and foremost, I want to thank you for supporting me and accepting me.
“I am doing and concentrating on decent scripts to the best of my ability since I know that anything I do now will be compared to ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya,'” the handwritten note said. Therefore, once you hear an announcement, you can be confident that it will be a quality movie and that I will give it my all.
“Maine Pyar Kiya,” which was directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya, marked Salman’s debut in a prominent role opposite Bhagyashree. The romantic musical movie ended up becoming 1989’s top earner and the highest-grossing Indian movie of the 1980s. Salman Khan became an overnight sensation thanks to the legendary movie, and he hasn’t looked back since.
Salman Khan wrote in a letter from the 1990s, “I love you and I hope that you will keep on loving me because the day you quit loving me, you’ll stop viewing my films and that is the end of my career.”
