On June 14, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput, a Bollywood actor, passed suddenly at his Mumbai apartment. Two years have passed, but the mystery surrounding his claimed suicide still persists. While the death was officially ruled a “suicide,” fans and family members continued to accuse foul play and call for justice.
Incredibly, a witness to the actor’s autopsy has now claimed that the actor was murdered rather than committing suicide.
“When SSR passed away, we had received five dead bodies in the Cooper Hospital for postmortem,” said Roopkumar Shah, who performed Sushant Singh Rajput’s postmortem. One of those five bodies belonged to a VIP. He was identified as SSR when we went to do a postmortem, and there were multiple marks on his torso in addition to two to three marks on his neck. Higher authorities were asked to simply take photos of the body because the postmortem needed to be documented. Therefore, we carried out their request.
“When I initially saw Sushant’s body, I immediately told my seniors that I thought it was a murder rather than a suicide. I even advised them to follow the regulations when working. My seniors, however, instructed me to call the police and take pictures of the body as quickly as I could. As a result, we only carried out the postmortem at night, Roopkumar Shah informed reporters.‘ Told seniors it was not suicide’, said Shah. On June 14, 2020, the actor, 34, was discovered dead at his Bandra apartment.
Starting with the Mumbai Police, Enforcement Directorate (ED), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) were brought in to investigate various angles in the actor’s death. Later, the authorities ruled his death as a suicide.
