Yo Yo Honey Singh opens up on failure while making a comeback

Yo Yo Honey Singh known for singing a variety of songs, including Brown Rang, Achko Machko, Mere Mehboob, Blue Eyes, Desi Kalakaar, Love Dose, Dheere Dheere, and Together Forever, is the Punjabi singer and rapper Honey Singh, also known by his stage name Yo Yo Honey Singh. Along with that, he provided the vocals for popular songs in movies like Cocktail, Son of Sardaar, Race 2, Chennai Express, Bhoothnath Returns, Singham Returns, Ki & Ka, Pagalpanti, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, among others. Even though many people adore him for his lyrics and style, not everyone is aware that the musician has bipolar disorder and has experienced psychotic symptoms.
The Blue Eyes singer acknowledged that there was “some wrong” with him and sought to fix it in a recent interview. On the Raw Star sets of Star Plus’ show, Yo Yo Honey Singh displayed psychotic symptoms. He added that despite the fact that people liked his music when he tried to make a comeback after five years, they did not welcome him because he had put on weight.
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Yo Yo Honey Singh said, “When I fell ill a lot of things were going on in life. I had the SLAM tour with Shah Rukh Khan. I had worked on a Star Plus project, I chose its name. I designed it for a year. When the show started, a lot of work was there. I was also doing a Punjabi film. A lot of things were happening. When I collapsed, when I had bipolar disorder and psychotic symptoms on set of Raw Star, maine kaha kuch problem hai mere dimaag mein, kuch hogaya hai. Mereko isko theek karne do (I said there is some problem in my brain, something has happened. I want to fix it).”
Yo Yo Honey Singh said, “Mujhe kuch nahi karna, mujhe isko theek karna hai (I don’t want to do it, I want to work on it),” remembering how his family members had talked about contracts, suffering losses, and being sued. I improved after five years, though. Then, I desired to compose music. I said to my mum, “I can’t do anything.” She advised me to start writing beats because I had begun as a music producer. I was having failures even though my songs were successful and I was making a return. “Yeh woh look nahi hai, woh comeback nahi horaha,” says Mota tha in the logo. I was big and many told me that my comeback wasn’t going to happen because of the way I looked. Gaana hit horaha tha but mujhe accept nahi karahe the log.
