Kangana Ranaut posted a video of Asha Bhosle reminiscing about her late sister, singer Lata Mangeshkar, on Instagram. No matter how much money was offered to her, Lata would never sing at weddings, according to Asha in the film. The same mantra has been followed by Kangana as well, she said in the caption.
In the video, Asha discusses how Lata once turned down a million dollars to perform for two hours at a wedding during her appearance at DID Li’l Masters. Lata had even stated that she would reject a five million dollar offer, according to Asha’s recollection. Yeh artist mein hona chahiye, she remarked, “should be within an artist.”
Kangana shared the video and added, “Agree!!! Despite having the most popular songs, I’ve never danced at weddings or other private events. refused absurd sum of money pleased to have found the video… Lataji is incredibly motivating.
Kangana only starred in one movie in 2022, Dhaakad, which failed to garner audiences to theatres. The movie received negative reviews from critics. The actor who played Queen anticipates the 2023 publication of her directorial, Emergency. In the movie, she is portraying former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, Shreyas Talpade, and Bhumika Chawla are among the notable actors who appear in the movie.
