Nikhita Gandhi who is currently basking in the success of her back to back hits from ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound‘, ie, ‘Gore Gore Mukhde Pe‘ and ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ title track, talked exclusively to us about the whole incident and what she feels about it. She said,

”Yes, today only me and band-mates were discussing this. My sound-engineer shared it in the group today. At that time there were monitors, so they used to blast everything so that it can be heard on stage while singing. But what they were doing, but that was adversely affecting all the artists, right?
Because you are constantly blasting music. Which is why we’ve moved towards in-ears where you are listening in your ears. So that you don’t have to listen loudly. You are listening precisely. But you are listening precisely and there is no problem. It is helping the artist perform better as well as not give too much of strain to your ears and your voice. That’s one thing that has changed, but of course it has made people of the yesteryear suffer.
With who have used that technology. And apart from that, one more thing that I naturally have is that I don’t listen to music day and night. Consciously, I also do it and most of the time subconsciously I have silence. Because I feel it from inside that I don’t want to listen to music all day. Because when I am on stage, it is intense. People go to concerts maybe once a month or once a year but we are doing concerts every week so that exposure to high db of sound is happening to us. So it is very important to have silence as well especially as an artist.”

Watch the video where she talked about her concerns and conscious choices to stay safe. She also talked about what she discussed with her band members after listening to this shocking incident.
