In an exclusive conversation with Mamaraazzi, actor Shreyas Talpade talked about how they discovered Triptii Dimri‘s audition-tape the best out of the many others while they were casting for ‘Poster Boys’ which was his directorial debut.
Shreyas Talpade, who is gearing up for his next release, ‘Kartam Bhugtam’ told us EXCLUSIVELY about what he saw in Triptii Dimri while he was casting for his directorial debut, ‘Poster Boys’. The film also starred Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Elli Avram along with Shreyas in the lead roles.

Such was the case with Shreyas Talpade’s discovery of Triptii Dimri for his directorial debut, “Poster Boys.” Triptii Dimri, a name that now resonates with promise & potential and has emerged as the ‘National Crush’ post the super success of ‘Animal‘, embarked on her cinematic journey with Shreyas Talpade’s directorial, ‘Poster Boys’.
The actor director said, ”When we a lot of auditions and her audition, you know was probably the best out of the lot at that point of time. The character we were looking for, we wanted someone who was a little naïve but at the same time, she is very powerful. And the way she did it was something that really appealed to us at that point in time. Yeh ladki acchi lag rahi hai, isko cast karte hai. Of course, koi nahi jaanta aage kya hone wala hai wageraah but at that point in time, she looked very apt for that part and that’s how we cast her.”
