Renowned filmmaker Anubhav Sinha, known for his impactful films like Article 15 and Thappad, recently hinted at a new superhero project. In a recent interview, Sinha shared, “I am working on an interesting superhero. Action and music have been calling me for a while now.”
On speculations about whether his next superhero film will be a sequel to Ra.one, in another interview the director shared, “Ra-One ended at a point where I haven’t been able to think of an extension. But maybe we’ll create something new, perhaps even another superhero.”
Ra One revolutionized Bollywood’s superhero genre with its exceptional visual effects and exhilarating action sequences. The film, which starred Shah Rukh Khan as the iconic G One, has become a cult favorite over the years.
As anticipation intensifies, it will be revealed what Anubhav Sinha has in store for his next superhero film. Anubhav, in an interview, had opened up about working on the sequel since the ending of the first part did leave some scope for a second installment.
Hs said, “Neither of us has written it off. Shah Rukh Khan and I keep talking about it. But it needs one catalyst. It’ll come either from him or me. Then we will get started. Every time we both meet, we talk about it, let’s do this. But nothing exciting enough has happened so far.”
