Jiah Khan Could Not Overcome Her Emotions About Sooraj Pancholi’: Special CBI Court Order

Last week, the CBI court in Mumbai announced the verdict in favour of Sooraj Pancholi. The Hero actor was acquitted of abetment charges almost 10 years after Jiah Khan was found dead at her Mumbai residence in June 2013. The order copy by the CBI court also confirmed that Nafisa Khan moniker Jiah Khan had suicidal tendencies and was saved by Pancholi earlier.
The special CBI court order said Jiah Khan’s death by suicide was an ‘unfortunate incident’. However, the proofs presented in the case revealed that the actress was a ‘victim of her sentiments’ and wasn’t able to overcome them. The order further stated that she always had the option to walk out of her relationship, but was held back due to her sentiments and love for the accused. As a result, “the accused cannot be held responsible”, read the order.
Additionally, the court’s order said Pancholi was also pursuing his career as an actor and wasn’t able to devote ‘sufficient time’ to her. However, he saved Jiah’s life when she tried to commit suicide earlier. “He had helped her come out of depression,” read the order copy.
After the court announced the verdict in his favour, Pancholi visited Delhi to seek blessings from Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. The 32-year-old actor took to his Instagram account and shared pictures, where he was seen standing with folded hands.
